Great things may come from big mistakes

you should never walk away from your past and try to forget what you have done wrong. No matter how it hurts you to remember it, and how wrong you were, every mistake you made brought you here.

You are not only a sum of your "well-done".

You are a sum of perfections and imperfections.

I like to believe that every single mistake I did brought me here, not only the things I did right.
Every mistake was so powerful in teaching me that I cannot discard them from my past.
If I quit a job, broke up with a boyfriend, and closed some doors in my past, it made me reflect, learn, regret, and grow from it. Every little mistake may have made me feel desperate, but also pushed me for a change, for a turn page.

Sorrow became hope and a new perspective of life. Openned some windows in my life.

My failures polished me more than my successes. Of course it feels good to do things right, and it is great to feel recognized for it. Just do not be afraid of risking things because of failure. And  - if failing - do not punish yourself for your mistakes. Do not see yourself as only a sum of your imperfections.

You and me are much more than we show and much more than others see.
